Hair and Domain Names

I cut my hair today for the first time since Spring of 2007. Cassie and I both grew our hair for Locks of Love and guess what, her hair grew much faster. She cut her hair months ago. It's ironic that we are now fighting cancer, but when we started growing our hair for Locks of Love, we had no idea we would be in this battle. For me, it makes the whole Locks of Love experience that much more special and meaningful.

On a completely separate note... domain name renewal is coming up for us. Currently, we are using matthalldesign(.com), however I think it's time for a change, so we are tossing around different ideas for a domain name that we can use as a family. A few that come to mind are:
- thehalls (.com .net .me .us etc, just depends on what is available)
- imahall
- imahallbaby
- halllife

If you have a suggestion on a good name, let us know.

  3. Matt and Cassie,
We walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Cor 5:7
After refusing to worship idols, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were thrown in a fiery furnace. Sounds pretty hopeless? Not for the God who specializes in doing the impossible; Who isn't known for "business as usual." When men do something spectacular we can detect human logic behind it. But as one author writes, "God doesn't build skyscrapers; men do and they have the touch of human genius. But you can't find a man who can make a star. And when God steps in, it's like the difference between a skyscraper and a star." God honored the Hebrew children's faith by bringing them safely out of the fire. The king himself declared, "Blessed be God who delivered His servants who trust in Him, there is no other god who is able to deliver in this way" (Daniel 3:28_29 NASB).

Many people who appear to be carefree, have anxieties only God understands: money problems, employment issues, health challenges and marital concerns. So God says, "Transfer all your anxieties to me" (1 Peter 5:7). When you walk by faith you get answers to prayer that challenge human reasoning. And looking back you realize you couldn't have come up with a better solution yourself.

Poet Patrick Overton said, "When you walk to the edge of all the light you have and take that first step into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing that one of two things will happen: there will be something solid for you to stand upon, or you will be taught to fly." Remember, "We walk by faith, not by sight." And just when you think you have learned how to do that, you will face a situation that requires you to learn it all over again!

I am and will continue to fast and pray for little Xavian's healing.

BTW, my first choice is everyhouseneedsahall and my second choice is halllife.

    Be Blessed - Rita Jamar

Hi Cassie, remember me? Ruth Landrus. Rachel and I have so praying for you and your family! What adorable babies you have! And I know grandma Denise is very proud too! Tell her hi for me, and I'm constantly praying for you. Cassie a lady in my church here in ST. Louis belongs to an organization that prays for people, mainly children in situations like yours. they also send out, many of them, these pray angels to the families. I have had you on our prayer list at church and this lady would like to put you on their list and have their people send out some angels to you. Would you be willing to give me a mailing address to give to them? I understand if you would rather not, but I think it is a good group that would do nothing else with your address. If you ge the chance let me know. My email is 2grandsons1117@sbcglobal.net.
Love you so much and will keep you in our prayers.
    Ruth & Rachel.

  5. I'm kinda surprised Kenny Hall hasn't already claimed "imahallbaby". I like what Mr. Albright has suggested, but that's kinda long. "causeimahall" maybe?

I'm trying to remember what you looked like with short hair, too.. Man, that was a long time ago..

    Stay Strong,
